Monseñor Jesús Castro Marte DICE: «Dominicanos están gritando en el desierto por incapacidad de autoridades.
Monseñor Castro Marte, Obispo de la diócesis de la provincia La Altagracia manifestó en su cuenta de Twitter, que el pueblo dominicano está atemorizado ante la ola de delincuencia y la inseguridad ciudadana existente en la actualidad.
Dijo además que la ciudadanía está «como el profeta Isaías», dijo que los dominicanos están “gritando en el desierto, ante la indiferencia o incapacidad de las autoridades para dar respuesta a esta problemática que mantiene a la ciudadanía atemorizada”.
El representante de la Iglesia católica se refirió al tema tras las constantes denuncias de inseguridad que sufre el municipio y el país.
