Las autoridades judiciales dispusieron la liberación del exponente urbano conocido como Onguito Wa, vinculado a la muerte de una persona en un accidente de tránsito.
De acuerdo a la los datos, Elvis Manuel Santos Alcántara tendrá que presentarse periódicamente ante la Justicia. Asimismo, tiene impedimento de salida del país.
Santos Alcántara estaba cumpliendo prisión preventiva en el Centro de Corrección y Rehabilitación Najayo Hombres. Esto, por un accidente de tránsito en el que se vio involucrado a finales del año pasado.
El accidente se registró el pasado 29 de octubre, en la avenida Duarte del Distrito Nacional, en donde el artista embistió al nacional haitiano Elma Avener, en momentos en que transitaba por la zona en una motocicleta. El Ministerio Público aseguró que Onguito huyó del lugar tras el incidente y luego mintió al presentar como responsable a otra persona.
