Santo Domingo.- El expresidente de la República, Hipólito Mejía, reveló que sería difícil que la delincuencia toque su puerta, debido a que cuenta con un gran cuerpo de seguridad.
En ese sentido, el ex jefe de Estado resaltó que cuenta con militares y armas de fuego necesarias para enfrentar cualquier acto delictivo o de raterismo.
“A mi no me pasa nada porque yo ando con tres coroneles y siete escopetas”, puntualizó Mejía, tras ser abordado por la prensa.
Aseguró que es difícil que le pueda pasar algo, a la vez que recomendó a los periodistas cuidarse, ya que no tienen garantizada su seguridad.
“A usted cuídese que lo pueden secuestrar”, manifestó Mejía.
Asimismo, dijo que esta de acuerdo con todas las medidas tomadas por el presidente Luis Abinader, referente al tema haitiano.
“Yo apoyo todo lo que dijo Luis Abinader”, indicó el dirigente del Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM).
