El periodista Diego Pesqueira fue designado este lunes como el nuevo vocero de la Policía Nacional, en sustitución de la teniente coronel Ana Jiménez Cruceta, como parte de los cambios que tendrá la institución.
La información fue ofrecida por el director de comunicaciones del Ministerio de Interior y Policía, Elvis Lima.
Pesqueira ha desempeñado varios puestos en la administración pública, entre ellos, vocero de la Policía. El más reciente, asesor en materia de comunicación del Ministerio de Interior, en adición a su también función de relacionador público de la Dirección Especializada de la Policía Escolar, dependencia del Minerd.
También fue vocero de la Autoridad Metropolitana de Transporte (Amet), que hoy es la Dirección General de Seguridad de Tránsito y Transporte Terrestre (Digesett), cuando su director era Frener Bello Arias (2016-2018).
