El COE aumenta a 20 provincias y al Distrito Nacional en alerta amarilla y mantiene 06 en verde, debido a que una vaguada continúa provocando un ambiente húmedo e inestable, además se observan nubes de gran desarrollo vertical, generadoras de aguaceros moderados a fuertes.
Las provincias en alerta amarilla son: María Trinidad Sánchez, La Altagracia, Monseñor Nouel, Monte Cristi, San Pedro de Macorís, Santiago Rodríguez, Santo Domingo, D,istrito Nacional, San José de Ocoa, Sánchez Ramírez, Monte Plata, Puerto Plata, San Cristóbal, Hato Mayor, Espaillat, La Vega, Santiago, Samaná, El Seibo y Valverde Duarte.
En alerta verde están: Elías Piña, Dajabón, Hermanas Mirabal, Azúa, La Romana y San Juan.
En ese sentido, se recomienda a las personas abstenerse de cruzar, ríos, arroyos y cañadas que presenten altos volúmenes de agua en las provincias bajo alerta.
