La Unión de Desarrollo de la provincia La Altagracia (UDEPAL) fue reciba por el Consejo para el Desarrollo Estratégico de Santiago (CDES), en procura de replicar en la provincia La Altagracia, el exitoso modelo de desarrollo integral de Santiago.
Una comisión de UDEPAL fue recibida por el presidente y el director ejecutivo del CDES Santiago; Ricardo Fondeur y Reynaldo Peguero. El encuentro entre ambas estidades desarrollistas estuvo matizada por el intercambio de ideas y la imperiosa necesidad de los Altagracianos de replicar el modelo de planificación de la ciudad de Santiago en la provincia La Altagracia.
