Santo Domingo.-El presidente Luis Abinaderencabeza, en estos momentos, una sesión con el Consejo Nacional de la Magistratura, con el objetivo de establecer los trabajos para elegir los 5 nuevos integrantes del Tribunal Constitucional.
La convocatoria propone una agenda cargada, incluyendo el inicio de las labores para evaluar y seleccionar a 5 nuevos integrantes del Tribunal Constitucional.
De acuerdo con la composición constitucional del Consejo Nacional de la Magistratura, además del presidente Abinader, integran el órgano, el presidente del Senado, Ricardo de los Santos Polanco; el presidente de la Cámara de Diputados, Alfredo Pacheco; el senador, Bautista Rojas; el diputado Víctor Fadul; el presidente de la Suprema Corte de Justicia, Luis Henry Molina; la magistrada de la Suprema Corte de Justicia, Nancy Salcedo Fernández, quien también funge como secretaria del Consejo; y la Procuradora General de la República, Miriam Germán Brito.
Con excepción del senador presidente, De los Santos Polanco, quien se une por primera vez al consejo, el resto de los miembros se mantiene igual que en las recientes convocatorias.
