Santo Domingo. – El Centro de Operaciones de Emergencias (COE) colocó este miércoles 13 provincias en alerta verde por posible crecida de ríos, arroyos y cañadas, debido a la incidencia de una vaguada que generará aguaceros dentro de las próximas 24 a 48 horas.
La medida fue adoptada para María Trinidad Sánchez, Espaillat, Sánchez Ramírez, Hato Mayor, Samaná, Hermanas Mirabal, Monseñor Nouel, Monte Plata, Duarte, Puerto Plata, La Altagracia, Santiago y El Seibo.
En ese sentido, el COE recomendó a las personas abstenerse de cruzar ríos, arroyos y cañadas que presenten alto volúmenes de agua y no hacer uso de balnearios en la provincia bajo alerta.
