La Dirección Nacional de Control de Drogas (DNCD) informó que ocuparon casi un kilo de cocaína camuflados en piezas de motocicletas que serían enviadas a Estados Unidos.
Los agentes de la DNCD, unidades caninas e inspectores, realizaban labores de verificación en uno de los depósitos del Inposdom cuando notaron sustancias extrañas en una de las cajas.
Posteriormente, en presencia de un fiscal adjunto se procedió a abrir la caja, ocupando en su interior un ramal eléctrico y dos catres de motocicletas rellenos de cocaína, con un peso preliminar de 890 gramos.
Según se ha establecido, la caja con las piezas de motocicletas fueron enviadas por un hombre con dirección en el sector Hato Mayor de Santiago y sería recibida por un dominicano residente en Brooklyn, Estados Unidos.
