Se registró la tarde de este viernes, un temblor de tierra de magnitud preliminar de 5.3 con epicentro al norte de Villa Vásquez y al este de Monte Cristi, sobre el extremo occidental de la Falla Septentrional, según informó geólogo Osiris de León, a través de su cuenta en X.
Varios internautas reportaron que sintieron el movimiento telúrico desde Montecristi hasta Santo Domingo, con fuertes vibraciones en Santiago, Azua, San Juan y Costa Norte.
