El ministro de Salud Pública, Daniel Rivera, informó este lunes que los centros educativos que tengan sospecha de casos de COVID-19 no pueden cerrar hasta que se realice el protocolo estipulado por el organismo sanitario.
“Ningún colegio, ni escuela puede cerrar por sí solo, tiene que ser que Salud Pública lo evalúe y de esa manera vemos la necesidad de aislamiento”, dijo el ministro.
El galeno indicó que no se han reportado más casos de COVID19 en los centros educativos privados y que aún es pronto para identificar en las escuelas públicas, ya que las clases iniciaron la semana pasada.
Rivera señaló que si un niño tiene fiebre o presenta algún síntoma se le debe tomar una muestra COVID-19, preferiblemente en Salud Pública.
