La tarde de este lunes, se reportó el primer fallecido de laSemana Santa 2024, tras ser atropellado en la Autopista 6 de Noviembre.
Hasta el momento se desconoce la identidad de lavíctima mortal.
El año pasado se registraron 30 personas fallecidas, según los reportes del Centro de Operaciones de Emergencias (COE).
De los 30 fallecidos, 26 perecieron en accidentes de tránsito, 14 de ellos fuera del mismo.
Detalló que 18 fueron por accidentes de motocicletas, dos por atropellamientos, seis por vehículos livianos, mientras que los cuatro restantes murieron por asfixia por inmersión.
De acuerdo a las estadísticas ofrecidas por el COE, en el operativo del año 2022 hubo un total de 34 fallecidos, lo que representa una reducción de un 11.8%, en comparación con los decesos del año 2023.
