Un raso de la Policía resultó herido en momentos en que supuestamente fue sorprendido por miembros de una patrulla de la misma institución cometiendo un asalto.
El hecho se registró la noche del miércoles en la intersección de las avenidas Luperón y Anacaona, en el Distrito Nacional.
Un informe de la Policía Nacional establece que el suboficial Michael Cuevas Contreras, tras ser sorprendido, emprendió a tiros contra los integrantes de la patrulla, lo que generó un enfrentamiento.
Cuevas Contreras es acusado de cometer varios hechos delictivos en el sector Los Ríos, para lo cual utilizaba su arma de reglamento.
