Este martes el Ministerio Público designó una nueva fiscal titular en la provincia La Altagracia.
Se trata de la magistrada Claudia Garrido, quien sustituye a la magistrada Mercedes Santana Rodríguez.
La salida de Santana Rodríguez resonaba desde hace un mes en la Fiscalía del Distrito Judicial de La Altagracia, confirmándose hoy la versión.
Garrido era directora de la Unidad de Violencia de Género e Intrafamiliar y Delitos Sexuales del Ministerio Público en Higüey; tuvo paso por la fiscalía de Bávaro y Verón-Punta Cana en el 2017.
Se esperan cambios en los diferentes departamentos de la fiscalía a nivel provincial.
