Las autoridades informaron que un criador de perros de California fue atacado hasta la muerte por los pitbulls que criaba, luego de que su cuerpo mutilado fuera encontrado en el patio trasero de su hogar el viernes.
El cuerpo del hombre de 35 años fue descubierto en su residencia en Compton alrededor de las 7:00 de la mañana, después de que un amigo preocupado visitara la casa, informó KTLA, un medio estadounidense.
Tras revisar videos tomados de cámaras alrededor de la propiedad, los investigadores indicaron que el ataque de los perros ocurrió entre las 7:30 y las 8:00 de la noche del jueves.
Los oficiales localizaron al hombre dentro de uno de varios recintos en el patio trasero de la propiedad, según muestran imágenes aéreas capturadas por KTLA.
“La información preliminar sugiere que el individuo fallecido estaba involucrado en la cría y venta de pitbulls“, dijeron funcionarios de control animal en un comunicado.
El hombre, quien no ha sido identificadopúblicamente, vivía solo y “finalmente murió a causa de sus heridas”, dijo Gomez.
Su padre consintió en ceder los perros a Control de Animales para “incautarlos y examinarlos”.
