El Ejército de la República Dominicana, detuvo a 77 nacionales haitianos en estatus migratorio irregular, durante operativos realizados en la madrugada de este viernes en la provincia de Azua.
En el primer operativo, las autoridades interceptaron un autobús Hyundai blanco el cual trasladaban 70 ciudadanos haitianos que no contaban con la documentación requerida para permanecer en el país.
El autobús era conducido por un hombre identificado como Edward Aquino.
Mientras que en otro hecho, efectivos del Ejército detuvieron un carro Nissan Note, negro, conducido por el ciudadano Yoan Figuereo Encarnación, acompañado por José David Gómez, donde se trasladaban 07 indocumentados, en el puesto de chequeo 15 de Azua.
Los conductores y el acompañante serán entregados al Ministerio Público, mientras que los extranjeros a la Dirección General de Migración (DGM) para los fines correspondientes.
