El COE aumenta 11 provincias y al Distrito Nacional en alerta amarilla y mantiene 09 en verde, debido a que continúan las condiciones favorables para que sigan produciéndose aguaceros de moderados a fuertes en ocasiones, tormentas eléctricas y ocasionales ráfagas de viento a causa de la vaguada ubicada al noreste del país, la cual juntos la humedad existente mantendrá la actividad de lluviosa hacia las regiones noreste, norte, sureste, cordillera central y la zona fronteriza.
Las provincias en alerta amarilla 🟡 son:
Santiago La Vega Monseñor Nouel San José de Ocoa Hato Mayor San Pedro de Macorís Santo Domingo Distrito Nacional San Cristóbal Monte Plata Duarte Sánchez Ramírez
En alerta verde 🟢 están:
Azúa Monte Cristi Dajabón Santiago Rodríguez El Seibo San Juan Elías Piña Peravia Puerto Plata
En ese sentido, se recomienda a las personas abstenerse de cruzar, ríos, arroyos y cañadas que presenten altos volúmenes de agua en las provincias bajo alerta.
