El COE mantiene 03 provincias y al Distrito Nacional en alerta roja, aumenta 10 en amarilla y mantiene 07 en verde, debido a que el informe del INDOMET, estable que ocurren aguaceros, producto del ambiente húmedo y la vaguada en varios niveles de la troposfera.

En ese sentido, se recomienda a las personas abstenerse de cruzar, ríos, arroyos y cañadas que presenten altos volúmenes de agua en la provincia bajo alerta.
De igual forma, el COE, recomienda a la población residente en la cuenca del Rio Yaqué del Norte hasta su desembocadura en la provincia de Montecristi, no cruzar ni hacer uso de carácter recreativo o deportivo en dicha cuenca hasta que termine la operación de regulación de la presa Tavera-Bao-López- Angostura.
