Un obrero muerto y varios atrapados entre los escombros, es el resultado preliminar que ofrecen las autoridades del desplome de un techo del Hotel Serenade actualmente construcción en la zona de Cabeza de Toro, en el destino Punta Cana.
Personal del cuerpos de bomberos de Verón-Punta Cana lograron extraer del desplome a uno de los trabajadores afectados, pero falleció mientras era trasladado a un centro de salud.

En videos y fotos enviadas a la redacción de Oriental TV, se puede observar como personal de rescate trabajan afanosamente en la zona de desastre, porque desconoce cuantos trabajadores están atrapados.
Bruno Benítez encargado de gestión de riesgos del ayuntamiento de Verón-Punta Cana nos prometió un informe más detallado cuando le sea posible.
