La Dirección General de Migración (DGM), informó que en el país se construyen cinco “centros de interdicción” para acoger a los migrantes antes de ser repatriados a su país de origen.

De acuerdo a una nota de prensa de esa entidad, esos centros están en Santiago, Dajabón, Elías Piña, Jimaní y Benerito, en Higüey.
La Dirección de Migración informó que su director, Venancio Alcántara, visitó este martes el ubicado en Santiago, el cual se encuentra en su etapa final.
“Cada uno de los locales está adecuado para garantizar limpieza, comodidad, la seguridad y tranquilidad que ameritan los extranjeros”, expresa la nota de prensa.
