El papa Francisco extendió este miércoles el pésame a familiares de las víctimas del desplome de la discoteca Jet Set, en República Dominicana, que ha dejado a más de 100 fallecidos y heridos.
Asimismo, el pontífice afirmó estar apenado por la noticia de la tragedia, ofreciendo sus oraciones para el descanso eterno de los fenecidos.
Estas declaraciones del papa están contenidas en una carta dirigida al arzobispo de Santo Domingo, Francisco Ozoria Acosta, a la que LISTÍN DIARIO tuvo acceso.
Igualmente, Francisco expresó en la misiva sus deseos de que los heridos en el siniestro se mejoren prontamente.
