Danilo Medina y Charlie Mariotti, presidente y secretario general del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD), respectivamente, no repostularán para ser dirigentes de esta organización política.
“El presidente del partido y el secretario general no van a optar a “ninguna posición durante este proceso. Es decir, sale el secretario general del partido y sale por modus propio el presidente de nuestro partido líder y guía, Danilo Medina”, dijo el secretario general del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD), Charlie Mariotti.
Mariotti explicó que a partir del 9 de junio el PLD iniciará el proceso para la realización de un congreso y revisión de los estatus, por medio de una encuentro que sostendrá la alta dirección política del partido con los miembros del Comité Central.
