Será este sábado a las 11 de la mañana cuando se conozca la solicitud de medida de coerción depositada por el Ministerio Público contra los siete imputados en Operación Camaleón.
El órgano persecutor, representado en este caso por la magistrada Mirna Ortiz, directora de Litigación de la Procuraduría Especializada de Persecución a la Corrupción Administrativa (Pepca), pide prisión preventiva para todos los involucrados y la declaratoria del caso complejo.
La operación Camaleón surge de una investigación de supuestas irregularidades en contrato entre el Instituto Nacional de Tránsito y Transporte Terrestre (Intrant) y la empresa Transcore Latan SRL.
Las autoridades revelaron que los imputados en la Operación Camaleón son el exdirector del Instituto Nacional de Tránsito y Transporte Terrestre (Intrant), Hugo Beras. Asimismo, Frank Díaz Warden, coordinador de Despacho y representante de Beras ante el Comité de Compras del Intrant. También Samuel Gregorio Baquero Sepúlveda, exdirector de tecnología del Intrant.
Otro de los principales implicados en el caso es José Ángel Gómez Canaán (Jochi), propietario de la empresa Aurix S.A.S.; Pedro Vinicio Padovani Báez, exencargado del Centro de Control de Tráfico del Intrant y Carlos José Peguero Vargas.
