A partir de noviembre el Gobierno comenzará un proceso de desmonte al subsidio eléctrico e iniciará un plan de implementación de un nuevo régimen tarifario que afectará a todos los usuarios del servicio de la energía eléctrica.
Esta medida, contemplada en el Pacto Eléctrico, provocará aumentos de la tarifa eléctrica desde un 0.3% para las industrias y/o grandes comercios hasta 2.7% para las residencias.
A partir de noviembre los clientes residenciales percibirán un aumento de entre RD$47.71 y RD$53.89 en promedio en su factura eléctrica.
En los pequeños comercios el incremento será de RD$31.99 y RD$41.25 en promedio; los grandes comercios pagarán entre RD$423.81 y RD$892.61 más y los clientes industriales y las zonas francas alrededor de RD$2,865.32, según consta en el documento presentado esta mañana por los funcionarios de la Superintendencia de Electricidad (SIE).
